Her go-to story topic would be opinionated pieces on pop culture and current events, specifically about music, because it’s a subject she is interested in and passionate about. Alyssa is most proud of her first ever article published on the website, comparing the two most popular extracurriculars, theater and athletics. When she’s not writing a new story for the website, Alyssa is typically participating in sports, including volleyball and track, listening to her 10 hour spotify playlist, or uncontrollably laughing with her friends. Alyssa’s creativity, love for writing, and curiosity about journalism led her to join The Viking Call, and she is excited to continue contributing to the website.
